So this month has been fun, stressful and exciting. We went to Disneyland with family. Bob has not gone since he was two years old and I have not gone in awhile (since I was about 20). Olivia has never been. of course. We will want to go back maybe every 5 years or so.. Olivia was perfect. She had no meltdowns at all- unlike most of the kids and some parents thier. It was a lot of fun. It was a blast to see my brothers for a couple mins too. I love both of thier families.
When we came home, we started on work again. We are very excited for Bob to transfer to Salt Lake soon. We both are so grateful for his job, however- it will be a lot easier when he is in Salt Lake. More sleep, save more money, and our deductiable on our insurance will be gone. Bob is going back to school at Salt Lake Community College. He is taking some pre-recs for either nursing or p.a school. We both hope he gets into a P.A school...but we will see. He would be happy doing either. He is not giving up on Medical school, but we are looking into a different route in doing it. It will be good for him to go back to school. On Halloween our car that we just bought broke down. Sigh huh? So we are getting it fixed today...hopefully it won't be too expensive. We can't offord much..but we need it because Bob travels so much that it is a good thing to have. However, I still wanted to have some fun on Halloween so we went to many different places. Tracy Aviary, Witchfest, a little shopping mall for trick or treaters, and Trick-or-Treating down a fun street at night. Lets say Mommy and Baby was really tired after our busy days. So with all of the "stuff" happening... we are grateful for many blessings.
Now that it is Thanksgiving, I must say I have been thinking about blessings. I forget to think in eternal perspective sometimes. Today's society we always think of money, situation and things that don't really matter. Sometimes the blessings are overlooked...So this post is also going to be a grateful post
I am so grateful for all of My Parents... parents have been on my mind a lot lately and they have always done so much for my family. They have been that support that every child needs. They gave us everything in the world. They supported us, they helped me reach my potienal and they will always be that anchor in life in general. I am grateful that my parents are ok... and that they are healthy, getting better from health issues etc. I have never known parents to give so much and expect so little. I love all the advice that they give me, all the direction they give, and the listening ear they always give. They give a lending hand to everyone... really nobody has any better parents. I do love them all.
I am grateful for a wonderful husband. Through hard times and thin, we have always been there for eachother. Trust me we have had some hard times and thin...however, we always seem to get through them, we get to love eachother even more, and we apprieciate eachother so much. We try to lift the other person up, we give eachother service if we need it. Although, Bob tends to take a lot on himself, he truly is the best person I know....
I grateful for an adorable, happy child. Every parent worries that they are not providing for thier children. All though, we don't make much. Trust me- we really don't, Olivia is so happy, warm and welcoming. She is going through two year old stages, which can be difficult sometimes...but for the most part she is almost perfect. Sometimes we wish we could give her everything in the world...but we can't and she seems just as happy with a made up toy cardboard toy, then a easy bake oven. I love how loving she is with me. I love her so much.
I am grateful for all the support we have. Everything helps, and we have so many people, family that helps. We don't ever ever forget you. EVER.
We are grateful for the gospel. I think without this church, how would I be today. It is such a part of me. It is who I am. We are always guided the right way when we truly keep to the faith. I am grateful I am not lost, that I know who I am and that is a Child of God. I make mistakes, but because of the wonderful redemption from our savior and brother, we can be forgiven. On this earth, we make mistakes, learn from it and become better-however, I am grateful for a church that gives us a way to live...a righteous way, a kind way and a right way. I am so grateful for the standard of living I obtain. I know I can do better...but I believe that by being faithful, we know a little bit who and what we are supposed to do in this life.
Thanks for the love and support that we have.... we have so many blessings.
