So tomorrow is mothers day. It has been weighing on my mind a lot lately. This year, I am celebrating being a mother for the first time in my life. It is odd to me. I have been looking around and noticed a lot of people who are great influences of being wonderful "mothers" to their children... I will first start with Bob's family.
Lynne Campos-Bob has a wonderful Mother.
She is so wonderful and beautiful in the inside and outside. Her lovely personality shines on her outer being, which makes her truly glow. That is a gift to have such a light and touch people in such a way. She has many children who she cares about dearly for. She sends them care packages, listens to everyone's joys, sorrows, up's, downs, she works really hard at her job. I remember one Thanksgiving. My first Thanksgiving with the Campos' family. She cooked for over 100 people. It was remarkable. She is a wonderful example. A true spirit of Christ- who has Christ-like attributes. She would most likely blush, and say "she really does not know me all that well..." but the fact is- I know her enough that she has made a wonderful impression on me, and I know that she is a woman of faith.
The next group of people I am going to give tribute to are Robert's sister's-
Janice, Connie, Diana, Allison, Jillian, Katie and Carol- (I hope I remembered everyone!)
To be honest, you Roberts sisters have so much passion-and many have told me quite animatedly that they are not going to have children, or not have children in a long time, or adopt...etc etc :) They are so funny together. They joke and play with each other a lot. It is fun to see it. They have passion about family. They sacrifice for their family. Many have told me they are not interested in having children for a long time... however, I do know whenever they do decide to have children, they are going to wonderful mothers...They are always fun to be around. All the children love them! They help so much with children in family events...These sisters that don't have children, I know you will be wonderful mothers in the future....Thanks for being a great example... The two that do have children- They are great examples too- I see in one, such compassion and generosity that is amazing. I remember her telling me a story that she took one of her children out to a concert as a surprise just for fun. She also helps me and Robert by giving us tons of clothes. Olivia, will always have something on her back. The other, I feel is very fun with her kids. I noticed how she can talk to her children. For example, I witnessed this girls son talk about the girl he liked with her. It was fun to see such confidence in his mother.
In Roberts Family, I also look up to his sister-in-laws. They are super mothers. I never saw mothers so calm. They are so calm...They are really great!
Ethelyn- ( i don't know how to spell her name very well.) I love how she can laugh at everything. I love how calm and non-judgemental she is. She is super awesome. She is really chilled and happy... She has a great attitude and hardly says anything bad about anyone. Really she is a great person and example.
Lynn- I love how she is so calm with her children. I love how she can have a good attitude about everything. Lynn is a lot of fun. She decorates for every holiday and has fun parties for her kids. She works hard for her children. I remember how one of her boys tried to lie to her, and she called it within a min. It was awesome. Lynn is a wonderful example.
Bob's Step Grandma- Larue ( who told us that she considers us and our baby hers- what a sweet heart) is a great example to me. She thinks about others so much. She loves everyone- her own children, her step-children, she treats everyone so kind and wonderful. She has wonderful manners, she is sweet, she takes care of people. She took care of her husband, her children, Bob's grandpa, and she takes care of family. What a caring lady. Really she is an example to me.
My family
I have many sisters and great woman in my life.... I will start with my sisters
Melanie- She works so hard. She is a wonderful mother. Her children feel so comfortable with her. They have blossomed and bloomed. With all of her recent worries, her children still feel comfortable. She accomplishes much. Mel, is in Law school with four children. She still spends time with them. These children really have a great time with her.
Jana- She works really hard for her children. Jana and her family show true courage, because they support their father with moving more then 3 times in 2 years.
Shelly- Shelly shows so much love to her child. This baby is so happy. It is amazing how happy she is. Michele also shows true and care because she was in the tornado's in the south the other day. Her house was damaged by this tornado. How she took care of her family during this crisis was amazing. What a true example she is to everyone. Not only is she courageous, she is sweet, listens to people, and shows true friendship to everyone she knows. What a mother should be...
Stacy- Stacy is a great example- I love how her children LOVE her. They find her the favorite person ever. Stacy works extremely hard for her family. She also is so serviceable to me. She offered to help me next year with the baby. Stacy also gave me some cheese just because she thought of me and bob. How sweet is that. Stacy is a great example and a great mother...
Jodi- I know that she is not a mother yet, but all of the children love her. She is caring, and she will be a wonderful mother...
All of my sister in laws are wonderful too- So I don't make this even longer-I will briefly talk about them. Molly- She is so much fun and is hilarious. We love her so much. Brightens everyone's day. Ester- She is so sweet. She takes care of her family and her husband. Merilee is a wonderful example. Every time I see her children and she comes over to pick them up or if she comes home- they all get super excited and run to give her a huge hug. We also ask her tons of questions about children...and child rising. She is super nice and answers a lot of questions. She is a wonderful mother. Emily- Her boy loves her so much.... she is so lovely. A lovely person and a lovely personality...
Another great example in my life is Pat. She is such a great friend. She is such a great Grandma. She is wonderful for our family. Thank you Grandma Pat. For those that read this far- you can read her tribute.
The two most amazing examples of being wonderful mothers is my Mother and Grandmother. My mother has worked so hard all her life. She is so generous with everything she owns. I remember growing up never feeling pressured about funds. I remember always having whatever I needed- even when money was tight. I never knew when money was tight though. My mother takes care of her children, even till this day. She has helped Bob and I so much. She has helped my other brothers and sisters. She takes care of children, she goes to events for her children and grandchildren, she helps solve problems. She takes on free cases. She loves everyone she meets. Her manners are enncourgeable to me. She is a classy lady, that I want to be like. Their is a list of things she does... It is way to much to list. What a great example.
My Grandmother is another example in my life. She is everything I want to be in my life. My Grandmother raised three children on her own. My Granddad died in his thirties. She wen't to school with three children. She had the courage to carry on when she was at her lowest. She does not let things get her down. She is a strong lady. A wonderful lady. I want to be like her. Her Class, Her style and her love. She teaches people what love is. I am grateful for her. I love her.
I love all of these wonderful woman in my life. Happy mother's day to everyone!
Thanks Amanda! You are such a great mom. Olivia is one lucky little girl.
