The Wedding day

Bob and I got married in the Salt Lake Temple on May 15, 2008. It was the most wonderful day of our lives. I was so happy that day. I never broke my smile. It was so great. The day was beautiful and perfect. I could never ask for more. We got married in the Salt Lake Temple because of the history it had in the church and also to my family. The symbols around it is incredible. It was like I was getting married in a Castle. My family had connections to it because my uncle was the temple president.
That uncle married us in the morning. It was funny because every time he would say our last name he would pronounce it wrong. We thought it brought the type of comedy we wanted to the day. A little laugh with that wonderful sealing. It was very memorable. The sky was amazing. The day was wonderful. The temple was beautiful.
Many people came and saw us come out of the temple. So many people came and supported us. It was really exciting. We felt so loved. We felt so loved from all those people that came and supported us. Here is the huge crowd behind us- it is all our friends and family that came and supported us. A lot of people!!!
Tons of family came and waited for us to come out of the temple. It
was a lot of fun.
I saw how excited they were for us. Again, I felt really loved and honored from so many people who loves us.
We took lots of pictures starting with the family first. Tons of people were there. The steps were so full. The reason why it was so full was because Bob has 11 brothers and sisters in his family not including spouses, aunts, uncles, grandparents and parents. I have 10 brothers and sisters which is also not including all the spouses, aunts, uncles, grandparents and parents. I remember Laurel could not talk over the huge crowd so she asked Roger to yell for her. A Big crowd!
What a fun time it was. After we did family pictures we had pictures with our parents and friends. Our parents did a lot of work for our wonderful wedding. They were so kind to work so hard. Bob's mom and dad traveled hours to be with us on our day. They had to sacrifice a lot to be with us. It was very kind of them to think of us. They made a luncheon for everyone right after the family pictures that was so great. People in my family still talk about how great that luncheon was. They did a marvelous job. My parents did an amazing job too. I loved the ideas that they put on the table for the wedding. They made the day very special for me. They worked very hard and made the day perfect. I love them so much. Because of my parents I had a dream wedding. They made this day beautiful. My parents are wonderful. After the family and friend pictures, we sent them to go get something to eat. That is when we went around the temple and took pictures. It was nice to be alone with my new husband. Laurel, my wonderful cousin and photographer did a great job. She was so great. We had such wonderful temple/announcement/reception pictures. She is the most patient person ever and so kind. The temple pictures were a lot of fun. We walked around, we played and laughed together, we had such a great time. it was nice to be with my husband and to get it on film. In the pictures you can tell how much we love each other. You can tell in these pictures how we really felt. That this was the best day of our lives! We loved each other so much, and that love has only grown. I am so lucky to have an amazing husband like I do. After the temple we had an relaxing lunch. We talked to everyone and it was so nice. It seemed like everyone was having a good time. We had the luncheon in my grandmothers chapel. A lot of people came. The food was amazing. Friends and family came and they all ate and chatted with each other. Everyone was so happy. Again, it was such a happy day. I did not frown once that day! I was so happy that I was sealed to the one I loved forever. After the luncheon people started to leave. We had a 3 hour break, before we had our reception at the Red Butte Gardens. During that break people played basketball. (Bob did at least with his brothers) People slept, people went to their homes and played games- what ever it was it was a well deserved break. Something that was needed in the day. Bob and I decided to come a couple
of hours early to the reception
area, because we wanted some pictures in the park, and a little tour they offered us. How they gave us a tour was on a golf cart around the park. It was a lot of fun! We went around seeing all the different flower gardens. It was so beautiful. The flowers were perfect, the day was perfect. Not too hot or cold. Perfect day! On the right is were we are kissing at the lily garden. I think this picture is very artistic because you notice the lily's first then the couple in the background kissing second. I liked it a lot that I am thinking of painting something like this. I think it would be really cute. Below us is a picture of Bob and I admiring the fish. These fish were really big. This pond was very beautiful too. I loved being there. It was a lot of fun, admiring
nature before we went to our reception. Here below we are also kissing right by the pond. It was really romantic. I thought
that the Red Butte Gardens was the perfect place for Robert and I to have the reception. I thought that the people were so kind that helped us. I enjoyed every minute of it. Here we are relaxing . I have my feet up and Bob took off his jacket. He looks so swave. I love this picture for some reason. I don't know why. Maybe because at home I do this with him all the time. We just past this mark and I said Ohh I want a picture. So they stopped and we had our picture. It was a great setting. It shows how we really felt that day. Relaxed. Honestly, I thought I would not be relaxed that day, but I was.
When we got back we started to set up. Laura my cousin was doing the flowers in the kitchen area. She did a really good job. Our colors were black and white with accents of red. Laura worked hours on the flowers and they were wonderful. She did not even get any sleep the night before and she sacrificed a couple of days with her family to be at the wedding. She is a gem.
I don't ever think I formally thanked her. But I just wanted to thank her if she ever reads this. Thank you Laura! Your flowers were wonderful! The flowers were so artistic. I hope her flower business booms because of this wedding.
This cake was marble cake. It was so good. It was made by Parsons Bakery. I would show the pictures of Bob and I cutting the cake-but they are embarrassing. After getting into the usual fight with the frosting. Friends and family started chanting to us for me to lick the frosting off his face and I did it. So UN-lady like.

Here is Bob with his mom. Also here is the few camp friends that came.

After we had a lot of people who came to us and talked to us. We cut the cake and then we shared a dance . Lots of people started to dance. It was the perfect music to dance too also. Jazz always helps the mood for a romantic dance. It was so relaxing and nice!

Our poor car

Here are some other fun pictures too!
